Local Charity Donation

Giving back is a core value at Pet Care by Gemma. Which is why a small portion of every booking made is donated to a local animal charity.

I really do feel that as a pet owner myself, the love and care my pets receive should be available to all animals.

However, as I’m sure we’re all aware this is sadly not the case. Whilst many pets are lucky enough to have found caring homes there are still many animals living in rescue centres hoping to find their future owner. With your help we can support charities that are providing shelter to these lovely animals and giving them the care they deserve.

Cardiff Dogs Home

Our first charity to receive a helping donation will be Cardiff Dogs Home and they will receive a portion of our bookings for the period December 2024 to February 2025.

Cardiff Dogs home is a small local charity that looks to re-home dogs, as well as helping dog owners with micro-chipping and offering subsidised neutering for their animals.

The work they do is incredibly valuable and beneficial, not only to the lovely dogs that they find new homes for but also to the person lucky enough to offer the dog a new beginning.

At a time, when it is estimated that 100,000 dogs are being taken care of in dog shelters and rescue centres throughout the UK, it is charities like these that do such important work.

I couldn’t be happier for Cardiff Dogs Home to be our first supported animal charity.
